Dr. Victor and his staff were outstanding. The communication prior to the surgery was excellent. They answered all of my many questions and concerns quickly. When I got there I was greeted like I was a member of their family. Dr. Victor made sure I was comfortable the whole procedure. Dr. Victor was friendly and thorough. What you get is a team of specialist/doctors working together in a well-equipped facility. You don’t just get a dentist or a single periodontist: you get a team. Its four teams: Ivan was our coordinator and business manager and as part of his team, we had a driver who took us where we needed to be and picked us up at the hotel when needed. We were very satisfied with the business part of the transaction and how they met our transportation needs. I needed a small amount of gum surgery to make room for a root canal, post-installation and crown for a fractured tooth. I also needed two implants. Dr. Maria Mansutti and Linda Manzano did a great job with the surgery and implants. They are both highly skilled and the equipment they used looked to be new and contemporary. If you need an implant Maria and Linda can fix you up! Dr. Gilberto Galvez and his lovely assistant did my root canal and installed two posts on the tooth that had been fractured in preparation for a crown. Dr. Galvez took his time and did a first-class job. He is clearly an expert in his field of work. My wife needed three old crowns replaced, one new crown and a few fillings. And as I mentioned before I needed one crown installed on the fractured tooth; so together we needed 5 crowns. Dr. Martha Tziu and her lovely assistant did all of the preparation and installation for the crowns. Again they took their time and the end results are very positive. Summary: My wife and I have travelled to Playa Del Carmen (more specifically Playacar) every year for many years. We love the beach, the resorts and the people. If you are like us and travel to this area for enjoyment and if you need dental work, then Smile Makeover may be a good choice for you. We scheduled a 7-night stay and completed all of our dental work in the first 3 days, which was a lot in a short time. The total cost was not cheap, but much more economical than what it would have been here in the states. If you need as much work as we did the time in the chair can be a little much, but now that it’s over I’m glad we chose Smile Makeover. I very much appreciate their team of experienced professionals!

I actually enjoy going to this dentist. Knowing it’s not going to cost me an arm and leg. He is very efficient and tells you exactly what he is going to do.
