What is a root canal procedure?

Root canal procedures, or endodontics, is a treatment for the inner pulp of the tooth. They are performed to save teeth from extraction. I was in agony over Christmas with a deep cavity in one of my back molars. I booked in to see a local dentist in Sutton and they advised an extraction was needed. They tried to pull the tooth but it was excruciating as the anaesthetic did not take. I could not go through with the extraction. Having previously undergone a root canal at Grand Canal Dental and experienced no pain, I booked an appointment with Dr. Tarpey in the hope that he could remove the tooth with minimal pain and he did not disappoint! I experienced no pain during or after the extraction. The standard of care I received was second to none. Can't recommend Grand Canal Dental enough.

I have been to some butchers in my time I mean Dentists, and like everyone else, I don't like them. However, my first visit to Gallagher's was by far the best experience I have had. 5 pm appointment to have a tooth extraction left the premises at 5.20 pm like id just been to see a doctor. Conor is as professional as they come, tells you what he's doing and when he's going to do it. See you again soon.

This is a superb dental clinic. My daughter had a very dark tooth from prev damage in front of her mouth and attended this clinic. To say a good job was done would be an understatement - it was superb - gave her back her confidence to smile now. Brilliant practice and would highly recommend.
