Better known as Dr John by his patients and staff, this proud business owner and visionary leader has inspired his team to achieve high dental standards and deliver great service. Dr John Hagiliassis is a fully qualified Australian trained Dental Surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic dental procedures. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA). After completing 5 years of comprehensive study at the University of Melbourne, he was awarded the William J Tuckfield Prize for Dental Prosthetics and then embarked on his journey into the world of private practice. After a further 10 years of private practice experience and training amongst all the major hospitals in Melbourne, Dr John took full ownership of Freedom Dental and created an amazing patient experience. Dr John leads a team of over 35 professionals who are all dedicated to providing high quality dental care and six star service in a relaxing dental spa environment. Over his 14 years as a dental practitioner, Dr John has performed over 10,000 dental procedures involving every aspect of cosmetic and general dentistry. His chair side manner has been described as friendly, gentle and compassionate. His daily goal is to provide his patients with the care and attention they deserve and empower them with informed choice. To further his understanding and knowledge of cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr John has trained with some of the most prominent international cosmetic dental specialists, continually striving to set a high benchmark, improve his skills and be at the top of his performance. Dr John's passion for technology has seen him be one of the first to introduce the iTero Digital impression system in Australia. Dr John has been widely published in the media and regularly lectures to Dental Students at the University of Melbourne. His teachings emphasise both the scientific as well as the artistic aspects of the field and focuses on understanding the patients needs holistically. Dr John is an Invisalign Elite provider and has a special interest in clear orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. His philosophy is to produce natural looking, beautiful results. He also regularly attends both meetings and study groups to stay abreast of the latest techniques on offer, which he can then confidently offer to his patients.

Dr Tina Raj completed her Bachelor of Science with first class honours and then attained a Doctor of Philosophy specialising in Molecular Biology, cardio-vascular disease from Monash University. She then went on to successfully complete her Entry Degree of Bachelor of Dentistry with honours from the University of Sydney. Dr Tina believes in respecting and caring for her patients which is well balanced with her gentle, compassionate nature and a strong drive in pursuing clinical excellence. She tries to implement these goals in her daily practice. Dr Tina takes the utmost pride and satisfaction in never surpassing on providing the highest quality dental care possible for all her patients and giving them the treatment that they truly deserve. She enjoys practising all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in endodontics, paediatric dentistry, providing general dental treatment under general anaesthesia, oral surgery and implant dentistry.

Originally from Manchester, UK, Dr Alice Smith followed her parent's footsteps and became a dentist. She achieved her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in the north of England. She then worked in the region for several years in general practice before moving to Melbourne and joining Freedom Dental. Dr Alice enjoys working in her current role and provides treatments such as Invisalign and Zoom 3 whitening.
