I have just returned home following a breast explant operation with uplifting and Lypo fat harvest into my breasts to reconstruct. I had my implants 10 years ago in the UK and have recently been feeling unwell from them. I did lots of research and found vanity was the absolute best option… it didn’t disappoint! My operation wasn’t a straightforward case but my talented doctor was up for the challenge and has provided excellent results! I am so delighted with my results, the care, professionalism and the package I received. Everyone was so kind and attentive throughout the process, the care was far better than I could have received in England. When it's obesity, there are so many stigmas in society. Society wants people to lose weight. When we go through that surgery, it doesn't please anybody either. I was like that first, too: I was a little ashamed to be going through surgery. It's seen as the easy way out, but it' not. It's involved a drastic change in my diet, working out and going to the gym. I could not tell you the last time I wasn't conscious of what I was eating or wasn't on a diet plan. I had tried and tested every diet under the sun. I decided it was the right time. So, as I approached my 24th birthday and was moving into a new chapter in my life, I decided I needed to do something to solve this problem that was affecting my life every day. I had made up my mind and proceeded with the next steps toward surgery. I made a great research about bariatric surgeons in Turkey since it will be affordable, and I met with Mayclinik and Dr Osman Gozkun. I got an online consultation, and he confirmed that I was eligible for the sleeve gastrectomy. My consultant helped me to book hotel accommodation and operation date, and I was ready to go. I had so many preoperative tests on the operation date, including endoscopy and ultrasonography. The surgeon came and explained the procedure in detail and gave me information about my post-operative care. He was really motivating, and that really made me feel at ease. Surgery was the scariest thing I ever did, but it was the best choice, without dispute. When you go into it, you have all these fears about what you are going to give up. I always tell people I can still eat three bites of just about anything, but I can't put a whole bag down anymore. It's remarkable; you're really not hungry.

They have also a jolly and full and energetic interpreter that makes my day not castaway. I believe she is a nice person because of giving a candy during the trip. The rockstar representative/coordinator: You have to contact their most valuable and responsive representative named “BATUHAN”, sure he will guide you until you reached the best hair restoration clinic in Turkey. The relaxing and cozy hotel: Most of the hotels that I’ve visited before are quite plain and have no wow factor. But the hotel provided by Catchlife during my stay in Antalya Turkey make my life easy and comfortable. Upon arrival, the receptionist will ask for your passport nicely and prepare your room quickly. The room that he gave me is exceptional and spacious. The bathroom is so clean. The foamy twin bed and have 6 different fragrant pillows. They have also a blanket that hurdles frostbite. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list, and wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! Heeeey Laaaaadeeeezzz!!! I'm a little over two weeks post-op and feeling great. My weight is now 165. I was hoping to lose a bit more quickly but my dietitian says I'm progressing well. And my clothes and suits are fitting slacker!!! Yaaaaay. I am so happy I did this. No regrets whatsoever. I promised to write about the surgery experience so here goes: When I was wheeled into surgery I met the team including nurses. I joked and called them the "A-team" and asked them to take good care of me. They promised to. I didn't see my surgeon just before surgery as he was in another room. However, I gave the anesthesiologist a message for him: "Thank you and take care of me". The anesthesiologist chatted with me and made me super comfortable. I laid down on the operating table, he gave me the anaesthetic and the next thing I knew I was being woken up as surgery was over!!! My surgeon was right there telling me that everything went perfectly, and seconds later my mum was there holding my hand as I was being wheeled back into my private room. I wasn't in pain. I didn't have and still haven't had any serious gas pains or anything of that nature. They treated me like a queen. I wish I could get the kind of care I received at Medhera Clinic here in the USA! I can't recommend them highly enough. It was the best decision of my life!!

My experience with Dr Ulas and his amazing team was extremely positive. From the minute that I decided to go to Turkey to have my procedure done and started to do my own research, I was very blessed that I stumbled across Dr Ulas and Rabia my beautiful patient coordinator/translator. Communication was on point from the beginning to the end of my journey, I felt I was given all the information needed before I made my decision. Had a video call with both Rabia and Dr. Ulas to determine what can be done. The day I arrived in Turkey 🇹🇷 I was taken to the hotel, which was a superb choice 6 stars hotel. Then, straight to blood test. After Rabia came to the hotel and explained in detail what to expect with an amazing Turkish coffee. We then had plenty of time to kill. we had half a day shopping and exploring Istanbul before early surgery admission the next day. On the day I met Dr Ulas, I was very calm, which made me feel very comfortable. He went through the surgery details with me. I felt very, very safe in their hands. The hospital staff were very friendly and helpful. Recovery was shockingly quick, I was able to go to the market 3rd day after surgery. I felt absolutely fine. I used to struggle to sleep at night due to neck and back pain, (not realising it was directly correlated with my breast size) and now I sleep like a baby, with no aches or pains! I look at myself in the mirror now and feel so happy with my reflection compared to how I felt before. The whole team is incredible and I cannot recommend her enough, he has changed my life. I cannot emphasise enough how highly I recommend Dr. Afet. Before I went in for the surgery, I was still very nervous and anxious because I have really bad anxiety but Dr. Afet answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. My new nose is perfect, it‘s identical I showed him in the picture. His job is an art, this is a real masterpiece. The hole team from the Memorial hospital is very skilled and kind, the nurses and the assistant Ismail are quite professional. However, the hospital is absolutely comfortable, modern and cossy, the same as the service. I was feeling safe and attendended!
