I have done further research on the procedure and will go ahead with the surgery. However, your price is double what I expected to pay. I shall review other hospitals thanks for your time. for the doctor's consultation, I thought he was excellent. so that is the reason for 5 stars, not the price thanks Regards Ian

The Medifema clinic is the only clinic that responded. I went on 20 August to look at the possibilities and on 22 August they did the breast implant, a facial correction and on the 29th the are looking at my varicose veins. So, one clinic is taking care of all my requests.

Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

From start to finish the communication and organisation are beyond reproach. British clinics could learn alot about how to treat patients and not perceive them as cash cows. So to Ilva and the staff a huge vote of confidence and a great appreciation of professional attitude and service and ALWAYS with a smile.

My journey started when I came across Dr Hany online, I sent an enquiry and the Dr Hany himself responded promptly. For such a busy professional and expert he was very thorough in providing me with all necessary information and quick to respond to all questions I had. From that point on, I made the certain decision that I was heading to Cairo for my weight loss surgery. Dr Hany then connected me with Nancy who was nothing short of a godsent. Nancy was there to help with everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. From when I applied for my visa, choosing the most convenient dates for me, my hotel and even a driver to pick me up from the airport to the hospital, then from the hospital to the my hotel after I got discharged. When I got admitted at the hospital, the entire staff was so helpful in getting me comfortable. I was given a very nice and safe private room (they are very big on safety for your belongings). When I met Dr Hany who was very punctual for our appointment, he was very friendly and assuring in a professional manner. He took his time to explain the surgical procedure to me and encouraged my questions. It was my first time traveling out of my country, my first surgery and I was traveling alone but I didn't once have the opportunity to panic because Nancy was with me throughout all arrangements and Dr Hany was by my side until I went to sleep in the operating theater. I woke up with some discomfort in my stomach but very minimal actual pain. I was very well taken care of with meds and physical care by the nurses. The nurses handled me with such warmth I almost didn't want to leave but I felt like myself again the same evening of the surgery and by the next morning I was feeling completely normal. I still had regular check ins from Dr Hany and his surgeon colleagues until I was discharged. It's been over 4 weeks now, recovery has honestly been really smooth. I'm doing well on my new relationship with food and the weight is just falling off. Also they don't just forget about you at the clinic once you get discharged and return, they continue to check in and provide support. Honestly I feel like Dr Hany undercharges for the quality of services they provide. I'm just so glad I found them, I wouldn't have afforded the surgery otherwise.

I had a gastric sleeve done in May 2019. I have lost just shy of 5 stone in 1 year. I was very hesitant to do the operation at age 22 but it's the best decision I ever made. Mr. Awad was kind and efficient throughout and the Tonic team have been constantly supporting me. The op went very smoothly and the lift to and from the Derby hospital and London was such a considerate feature. The first 3-4 weeks are tough but completely worth it. I'm well adjusted to my new stomach now. I don't feel like I'm deprived of anything. I feel like now my body isn't always working against me and gaining weight disproportionately. I got a breast augmentation at the start of the summer and it was the best decision I ever made. I went for a consultation and it was carried out by Dr Tunau. I’m very petite and I haven’t seen anyone my size with implants that actually looked good , they always look to large for their frame. I’d been to other clinics before for consultations and they had pushed larger implants on me. Dr Tunau wasn’t like this. I picked a 270cc implant /teardrop (this is on the smaller end of implants ) I did second guess the size a few times but I’m glad I stuck to the 270cc . The surgery was carried out by Dr Salam. He’s a lovely man and put me at ease, I wasn’t nervous at all the day of surgery. All the staff members are very kind from the nurses to anaesthetist, the after care is unbelievable, they will call you for a few days after the surgery to check how you are etc. I’ve had a fantastic recovery. I was out and about a few days after surgery ..zero pain at all. I’m a few months post surgery and my implants look real . They fit my body so well. With the 270cc implant I went from an A cup to a D cup . I wasn’t expecting this but I’m not complaining.
